Illegal Immigrants and Laws

Since I am an immigrant to the Unites States, and one of its last true slaves, I may be qualified to speak about these subjects: If someone does something illegal, he breaks the law and therefore has to be punished. If not, why have the law, or any other law. According to “Ami’s Avalanche Axiom,” when we begin to make exceptions in law enforcement, we sow the seeds of our own downfall.
Furthermore, since we have become collectively extremely lazy to do our own work, millions are hiring illegal immigrants and therefore are aiding and abetting criminals, which is also illegal. Crime is defined as “… commission of an act that is forbidden or the omission of a duty that is commanded by a public law and that makes the offender liable to punishment by that law.”
But many legal and illegal immigrants are also being very exploited. And this may even be against a higher law. Cicero stated that “the welfare of the people is the ultimate law.” And that includes all of us. But since we are now caught in a rapidly growing national avalanche, are we going to survive as a nation when we crash at the bottom?
And by the way, after I came to America, I learned English rather quickly, because I was forced to speak it daily, and without the "benifit" of ESL courses.
