Are our invisible enemies are winning?

It is very interesting that certain bacteria and viruses are mutating succesfully to survive, while at the same time the immune sytems of humans are weakening. Our collective "intelligence" seems to be speeding the demise of our species. However, some bugs seem to be adapting faster to threats to their existance than we can outsart them to save our health.
